Scope
Euroclad Elite 2 acoustic roofing system and Euroclad Elite 55 Acoustic wall cladding system.
Spanning an impressive five hectares, Thornton Roofing began work at Oakleaf Farm recycling in 2016. Work at the inert waste processing building included a fully integrated Euroclad Elite acoustic roofing system fully compliant with BS EN ISO 354:2003 and double skinned walls to control noise reverberation.
The high-quality roofing system was designed with an insulation gap between the outer and inner lining sheet to allow for enhanced acoustic absorption and improved strength.
The roofing and walling solutions provided were carefully considered with noise control in mind due to the factory’s location on an official Green Belt, close to a housing development, the Staines Reservoirs and Heathrow Airport
